Hite Jinro FC – Part 4: Amateur Division 1 Rounds 6 to 10 plus Cup Update

Welcome back to the fourth part of the Hite Jinro FC journey. It’s been a period week at Soju Park as Hite Jinro FC have continued to build on their impressive start to the season plus 2 more cup games. For those who don’t know the mission is to take new created Hite Jinro FC from the bottom to K League glory and beyond.

Also before we start, we have no connection to the Hite Jinro company or any real world football team, this is purely for fun and on Football Manager 2017.

Hite Jinro FC – KFA Amateur Division 1 (Rounds 6-10)

We of course started the season with 4 wins and 1 defeat from our opening 5 games. We’re continued that impressive run of form picking up another 4 victories, and suffering just one more defeat. These results have us topping the KFA Amateur Division 1 table and little ahead of Ganghwa Island Warriors.
Rounds 6-8 saw us beat L Electronics G4, SMCE and Jeju Metropolitan scoring 10 goals in the process. Then sadly we narrowly lost to our nearest vivals Ganghwa Island Warriors. Following that defeat we bounced back to beat a solid Dense Locomotive.

Hite Jinro FC – Korean FA Cup 2nd Round & Korean FA Vase 1st Round

Away from the league we have been involved in the early stages of both the FA Cup and FA Vase.

Following our FA Cup 1st round win over Joongdong High School (Details here) we played Chuncheon FC for the K3 League (4th tier) in the 2nd round once again away from home. We started the game as underdogs but had confidence that we could break down their more experience defence. Sadly the only goal of the game came from the spot following a questionable penalty decision. Following that goal we just couldn’t find a way past their defence and the game end 1-0, dumping us out of the cup.

Moving on the FA Vase and sadly things didn’t get any better, despite the home draw we faced Amateur Premier side Samsung Rangers. Samsung are a Suwon based side who boast wealthy owners and an impressive squad. Despite playing well we conceded twice and couldn’t find any rhythm and crashed out of the second and final cup competition of the season. Samsung progress and will be one of the favorites to lift the inaugural Korean FA Vase.
