The K League is back and following an interesting opening day of the season the rest of the top tier start their campaigns this weekend. Four sides who maybe in the middle table or relegation battles this season start on Saturday. The highlight game for us is between Gangwon FC and Incheon United.

K League 1: Saturday March 3rd 2018 Preview / Predictions
There are 2 games on the first Saturday of the K League 1 Season;
Pohang Steelers vs. Daegu (2pm)
Both of these sides finished the 2017 season strongly, clear of relegation but still in the bottom half. Pohang on paper look a little strong, even though they’ve lost basically the whole of their attacking line. Daegu have also lost their main goal scorers. So this will come down to who has shopped better pre-season and we feel that that’s Pohang.
Prediction: 2 – 1
Gangwon vs. Incheon United (2pm)
The late game is an interesting encounter over in Chuncheon. Gangwon spent big going into the 2017 season and it paid off with a top half finish. Incheon on the other hand were poor and played boring defensive football in order to survive. However this is a new season and although Gangwon look similar, Incheon have changed things up and are an unknown force at the moment. So we feel it will end in a draw.

K League 2: Saturday March 3rd 2018 Predictions
The 2nd tier of Korean Football kicks off on Saturday afternoon. There are 3 games with the highlight maybe being the early game between FA Cup Finalists Busan I’Park and always dangerous Seongnam FC.

Prediction: 1 – 0
Daejeon Citizen vs. Bucheon 1995 (3pm)
Prediction: 4 – 2
Gwangju vs. FC Anyang (3pm)
Prediction: 2 – 1
