K League 1: Saturday March 10th 2018 Preview / Predictions

There are 4 games in the K League 1 this Saturday;

Daegu vs. Suwon Bluewings (2pm)

The first game of the day comes from the Daegu Stadium. Daegu started the season losing 3-0 on the road to Pohang, whilst visitors Suwon Bluewings suffered a shock home defeat to Jeonnam. On paper a draw seems likely, however Suwon have shown glimpses of greatness in the ACL this season, so we’re picking them to take home the 3-points.

Prediction: 0 – 2

Incheon United vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai (2pm)

Our highlight game of the day comes from Incheon. Hosts Incheon United looked a little off the pace last weekend on the road vs. Gangwon, but are generally stronger at home. Jeonbuk Hyundai have won all of their games impressively in all competitions this season and could be looking at a treble if things go to plan. Still with plenty of games coming up, we see Incheon holding Jeonbuk to collect a valuable point.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Gyeongnam vs. Jeju United (2pm)

Gyeongnam started their first season back in the top tier with a win last weekend. However hat-trick hero Marcão is suspended and therefore their attacking options weakened. Jeju were hammered in the ACL during the week and labored to a draw against Seoul last weekend. This all said, we think this will end in a draw.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Ulsan Hyundai vs. Sangju Sangmu (4pm)

The late game of the day is down on the South East Coast. We’ve sided with Ulsan in this one. They might not lost week one, but on the road to Jeonbuk that’s understandable. Sangju on the other hand looked weak against Gyeongnam and it could be a tough season for them.

Prediction: 2 – 0
