K League 1: Saturday March 17th 2018 Preview / Predictions

There are 3 games in the K League 1 this Saturday;

Incheon United vs. Daegu (2pm)

The first game of the day comes from the Incheon Football Stadium. Incheon pulled off the massive shock last weekend beating reigning champions Jeonbuk Hyundai 3-2. Daegu on the other hand have struggled so far this season. Therefore I see Incheon winning this one.

Prediction: 2 – 1

Gangwon vs. Sangju Sangmu (2pm)

Game 2 comes from over in Chuncheon as Gangwon host Sangju. Gangwon are one of three teams with 100% record so far in 2018, beating Incheon and Seoul in the opening weeks. Sangju lost week 1, but bounced back to shock Ulsan last weekend. Hard one to judge but at home Gangwon should have the edge.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Jeonnam Dragons vs. Gyeongnam (4pm)

The last game of the day features two of the early season surprise packages. Jeonnam Dragons beat Suwon Bluewings week 1, but fell in a great match last weekend to Pohang Steelers. Gyeongnam have won both of their games so far this season, plus star striker Marcão returns this weekend. Very tight game to call, therefore I’m siding with a draw.

Prediction: 1 – 1
