K League 1: Saturday March 31st 2018 Preview / Predictions

There are 4 games in the K League 1 this Saturday;

Pohang Steelers vs. Ulsan Hyundai (2pm)

The first game of the day is a South East Derby between Pohang and Ulsan. Pohang are unbeaten so far this season with 2 wins and a draw. Whilst Ulsan on the other hand are bottom of the league having lost all 3 of their league games, not scoring once in the process as well. They have however picked up 5 points from 4 games in the ACL. Overall Pohang seem like favorites to win this one.

Prediction: 4 – 2

Jeju United vs. Suwon Bluewings (2pm)

The second early Saturday game comes from the holiday island of Jeju, as Jeju United take on Suwon Bluewings. Jeju United have had a mixed start to the 2018 season with 4 points from 3 games. Suwon Bluewings have the same record, but have been better in attack. Both sides have been solid but again inconsistent in the ACL. I’ve sided with a draw in this one with both sides resting a few players ahead of the ACL games next week.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Sangju Sangmu (2pm)

The first of the 4pm kick offs features defending champions Jeonbuk hosting army side Sangju. Jeonbuk have won 2 of their 3 league game this season and have been much stronger whilst at home. Sangju on the other hand have only 1 win from 3 games, but at least will be well resting following the international break. Jeonbuk will be favorites heading into this game.

Prediction: 3 – 1

Daegu vs. Jeonnam Dragons (4pm)

The last game of the day features two sides that could be battling at the bottom of the table come November, Daegu v Jeonnam. Daegu have just a single point from their opening 3 games, and still haven’t scored this season. Jeonnam Dragons won week 1 but have lost twice since then. Their issue has been a weak defence, conceding 7 goals in 3 games. I feel Jeonnam will edge this one, but Daegu will at least score.

Prediction: 1 – 2

K League 2: Saturday March 31st 2018 Predictions

The K League 2 continues on Saturday afternoon with three interesting games. The highlight game is the Gyeonggi-Do Derby between FC Anyang and Suwon FC. Predictions below;

Busan I’Park vs. Ansan Greeners (2pm)

Prediction: 3 – 1

Seoul E-Land vs. Bucheon 1995 (3pm)

Prediction: 0 – 2

FC Anyang vs. Suwon FC (3pm)

Prediction: 1 – 2
