The 2018 K League 1 season is now over a month old and all 12 sides have exposed their strengths and weaknesses. Saturday’s games don’t feature any of the sides in ACL action this past week, but do include current league leaders Gyeongnam FC hosting struggling Daegu FC. A slightly different highlight game of the day. Previews and Predictions below;

K League 1: Saturday April 7th 2018 Preview / Predictions
There are 2 games in the K League 1 this Saturday;
Incheon United vs. Jeonnam Dragons (2pm)
The first game of the day comes from the Incheon Football Stadium, also known as the Sungui Arena Park. As Incheon United (6th) host Jeonnam Dragons (7th) in an interesting midtable clash. Both sides have drawn with Daegu in recent weeks, and have also caused shocks this season. Jeonnam beating Suwon Bluewings on the opening day, and Incheon United beating defending champions Jeonbuk Hyundai week 2. Incheon on paper at least have the edge in defensive and with star forward Stefan Mugoša back this week, they’re going to be hard to beat.
Prediction: 2 – 1

Gyeongnam vs. Daegu (4pm)
The later game of the day in the K League 1 comes from down in Changwon, as shock early pace setters Gyeongnam host Daegu. Gyeongnam have shocked everyone by winning their opening 4 games of the season. Which is even more impressive once you remember they were down in the K League Challenge (now 2) last season. Daegu on the other hand haven’t had the strongest of starts to their season. They’ve only picked up 2 points from their opening 4 games, scoring just once in the process. It’s therefore obvious to say that I see Gyeongnam winning this one, but you never know. Maybe Daegu can cause an upset.
Prediction: 3 – 1
K League 2: Saturday April 7th 2018 Predictions
The K League 2 continues on Saturday afternoon with three interesting games. The highlight game is the late game which features Asan Mugunghwa (aka Korea Police) hosting surprise early leaders Bucheon 1995.
Ansan Greeners vs. Suwon FC (2pm)
Prediction: 2 – 1
FC Anyang vs. Daejeon Citizen (5pm)
Prediction: 2 – 4
Asan Mugunghwa vs. Bucheon 1995 (5pm)
Prediction: 1 – 2
