K League 1: Saturday May 19th 2018 Preview / Predictions

There are 2 games in the K League 1 this Saturday;

Gyeongnam FC vs. Gangwon FC (2pm)

The first game of the day is between surprise package Gyeongnam FC and inconsistent Gangwon FC. Gyeongnam have surprised many with their strong start to the season currently sitting up in 4th place. Gangwon FC have won 5 but lost 6 of their 13 games so far this season highlighting their inconsistent form. This game will also feature the leagues two top goalscorers in Marcão (Gyeongnam) and Uroš Đerić (Gangwon) who are both on 10 goals. I see Gyeongnam having the narrow edge in this one.

Prediction: 2 – 1

Jeonnam Dragons vs. Daegu FC (4pm)

The late game on Saturday is between two struggling sides in 10th placed Jeonnam Dragons and bottom side Daegu. Therefore this game is an early season relegation 6-pointer. Jeonnam have only 2 wins all season, however Daegu haven’t done any better with only a single victory this season. They drew 1-1 earlier in the season and I see this game going the same way.

Prediction: 1 – 1

K League 2: Saturday May 19th 2018 Predictions

The K League 2 continues on Saturday evening with two interesting games. The highlight game is between playoff placed Bucheon 1995 and hit-miss Seoul E-Land. Predictions here;

Bucheon 1995 vs. Seoul E-Land (7pm)

Prediction: 2 – 0

Asan Mugunghwa vs. Daejeon Citizen (7pm)

Prediction: 2 – 1
