The K League 1 has reached the final day of the final round of action before the world cup break. The sides involved in ACL are all back on Sunday afternoon with four key games at both the top and bottom of the table. Incheon United v Ulsan is the big game at 2, whilst giants Seoul & Jeonbuk clash at 4.

K League 1: Sunday May 20th 2018 Preview / Predictions
There are 4 games in the K League 1 this Sunday;
Incheon United vs. Ulsan Hyundai (2pm)
The first game on Sunday afternoon is between struggling 11th placed Incheon United and improving 6th placed Ulsan Hyundai. Incheon United have only won once all season and have only a single point from their last 8 games. They are also currently managerless. Ulsan Hyundai crashed out of the ACL during the week and played poorly against Suwon. In the League they’ve bounced back from an early poor run to push into the top half. I see Ulsan going home with the 3-points, but as ever Incheon will make it hard for them.
Prediction: 1 – 2
Sangju Sangmu vs. Jeju United (2pm)
The second of the 2pm kick offs is between in-form Sangju Sangmu and 3rd placed Jeju United, who are also in-form. Sangju Sangmu have won 3 of their last 5 and recently broke into the top half and possible championship race (although it seems unlikely anyone will catch Jeonbuk). Jeju have also done well recently winning 4 of their last 5, and seem to have recovered from their early ACL exit. This is a tight game on paper and I personally see it ending in a draw.
Prediction: 1 – 1
FC Seoul vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai (4pm)
The first of the 4pm kick offs is a clash of giants as FC Seoul host run away league leaders Jeonbuk Hyundai. FC Seoul are currently looking for a new manager following a woeful start to the season. With only 3 wins in 13 games, they are closer to the relegation battle than the championship. Jeonbuk Hyundai on the other hand are looking impressive on two fronts progressing to the Quarter Finals of the ACL and currently have a 7 point lead at the top of the K League. I see Jeonbuk winning this one, but it was be close and Jeonbuk maybe tired following their ACL action.
Prediction: 0 – 1
Pohang Steelers vs. Suwon Bluewings (4pm)
The final game of the day is another big clash, this time between Pohang Steelers and Suwon Bluewings. Pohang Steelers bounced back impressively last weekend beating Jeonbuk 3-0, their first win in 5. Suwon Bluewings beat Ulsan during the week to progress to the Quarter Finals of the ACL, however they’ve been inconsistent in the league recently with only 1 win in 4. I see this being a goal fest, with maybe Pohang coming out on top.
Prediction: 4 – 3
K League 2: Sunday May 20th & Monday May 21st 2018 Predictions
The K League 2 continues on Sunday evening & Monday evening with three interesting games. The highlight game is between playoff challengers Ansan Greeners and league leaders Seongnam FC on Monday evening.
Sunday:
FC Anyang vs. Gwangju FC (6pm)
Prediction: 0 – 2
Monday:
Ansan Greeners vs. Seongnam FC (7.30pm)
Prediction: 0 – 1
Busan I’Park vs. Suwon FC (7.30pm)
Prediction: 2 – 1
