The second round of group stage games continues on Thursday/Friday with Day 8 of the 2018 World Cup. France, Argentina and Australia are all in action. The highlight game is the late kick off between Argentina and Croatia. Predictions below;

Predictions World Cup 2018 Group Stage Games (Day 8 / June 21s-22nd)
Denmark 2 – 1 Australia
Group C – Wednesday 9pm (Korea Time)
The early game of the day is between Denmark and Australia. Denmark narrowly beat Peru in a pretty dull game, whilst Australia lost to one of the favorites France 2-1. So this game will be close, but overall I see Denmark coming out on top.
France 2 – 0 Peru
Group C – Friday 12am/Midnight (Korea Time)
This game seems interesting on paper, with France coming in as big favorites. France beat Australia in their opening game, but didn’t have it all their way winning 2-1. Peru narrowly lost to Denmark, but looked defensively strong for most of the 90. I see France winning this one.
Argentina 2 – 1 Croatia
Group D – Friday 3am (Korea Time)
The late game comes from group D and is between Argentina and Croatia. Argentina suffered a shock in their opening game being held by Iceland 1-1, with Messi missing a penalty. Croatia on the other hand looked strong whilst beating Nigeria 2-0. I see Argentina bouncing back and winning this one, with Messi maybe being the hero.
