The second round of group stage games continues on Friday/Saturday with Day 9 of the 2018 World Cup. Brazil are the highlight nation in action as they take on Costa Rica. Iceland are also in action. Predictions below;

Predictions World Cup 2018 Group Stage Games (Day 9 / June 22nd-23rd)
Brazil 2 – 0 Costa Rica
Group E – Friday 9pm (Korea Time)
The early game of the day is between South American giants Brazil and 2014 heroes Costa Rica. Brazil drew their opening game against Switzerland and will be hoping to get the 3-points here. Costa Rica lost narrowly to Serbia, and are lacking a little moving forward. I see Brazil winning this one.
Nigeria 0 – 1 Iceland
Group D – Saturday 12am/Midnight (Korea Time)
This game it a strange matchup, with Nigeria taking on Iceland. Nigeria lost their opening game 2-0 to Croatia and will be looking to bounce back here. Iceland held South American giants Argentina to a 1-1 draw, and even saved a Messi penalty. I see a shock win for Iceland, setting up an important game with Croatia.
Serbia 1 – 2 Switzerland
Group E – Saturday 3am (Korea Time)
The late game comes from group E and see Serbia taking on Switzerland. Serbia narrowly defeated Costa Rica in their opening group game, whilst Switzerland held Brazil to a 1-1 draw. I see Switzerland having the overall edge, but this will be a close game.
