It comes down to this is groups E and F. In Group E South Korea have the slimmest of chances to progress into the knockout stages as they take on Germany. In the other game in the group features Mexico and Sweden. In Group D Brazil will be looking to top of the group as they take on Serbia. Whilst in the other game Switzerland need to beat Costa Rica to book a place in the last 16. Predictions below;

Predictions World Cup 2018 Group Stage Games (Day 14 / June 27th-28th)
South Korea 1 – 3 Germany
Group F – Wednesday 11pm (Korea Time)
The first of the two games in Group F feature defending champions Germany and East Asian Nation South Korea. Germany started poorly losing narrowly to Mexico, before leaving it last to beat Sweden. South Korea haven’t done any better losing both of their games so far, but they aren’t out yet. I see South Korea putting in a strong performance but in the end Germany coming out on top.
Mexico 2 – 1 Sweden
Group F – Wednesday 11pm (Korea Time)
The second game from Group E is between Mexico and Sweden. Mexico have won both of their opening game by a single goal, but haven’t booked a spot in the final 16 yet. Sweden beat Korea in the poor opening game, then were unlucky to lose to Germany. I see this one ending in a draw, however Sweden might need the win and Mexico will therefore a late winner on the counter.
Serbia 0 – 2 Brazil
Group D – Thursday 3am (Korea Time)
Moving onto Group D as Serbia take on Brazil knowing that only a win will do. Serbia won their opening game against Costa Rica, but then narrowly lost to Switzerland. Brazil draw their opening game, before beating Costa Rica 2-0 at the end of last week. I see Brazil rallying to produce a win which could see them top the group.
Switzerland 2 – 1 Costa Rica
Group E – Thursday 3am (Korea Time)
The other group from Group E is an interesting clash between Switzerland already eliminated Costa Rica. Switzerland have 4 points from their opening 2 games, but haven’t played flowing football as of yet. Costa Rica have lost twice and aren’t the same side that did so well in 2014. I feel Switzerland will win this one, with Costa Rica switching things up.
