The AFC Champions League returns on Wednesday evening with the Quarter Final stages. The only K League sides remaining in the competition face each other as Jeonbuk Hyundai take on Suwon Bluewings. Here are details on this Quarter Final 1st leg game in the ACL2018;
Reminder that this season I’m taking a long streamlined approach to the ACL due to other commitments and therefore focuses just on Predictions, and only for games including K League sides. However I’ll try and link previews for other sites when possible.

Jeonbuk Hyundai 1 – 1 Suwon Bluewings
Wednesday August 29th 2018 – 1st Leg
As this is the first leg and between two evenly matched sides, I see Jeonbuk bossing the game but it ending in a draw. Jeonbuk are away and clear atop the K League 1 but stumbled at the weekend letting a 2-0 lead slip against Sangju Sangmu. Suwon Bluewings bounced back for three straight defeats to edge Gyeongnam FC 1-0 on Saturday evening.
Of the meetings between these sides this season Jeonbuk have won both (3-0, 2-0). They have never played either other in the ACL before.
