One advantage of working pretty early on a Winters morning is that you can walk around the park when it’s nice and quiet. That goes double on those crazy cold days when there’s a nice thin layer of snow on the ground. Towards the end of last month (January 2019) I was greeted by this fantastic sight of a perfectly white Cheongna Lake offset by the pure blue sky. You can even see the giant shark on the other side of the lake :).
Cheongna Lake Park (청라호수공원) is a great place to walk around and relax in Summer months, but during the Winter it can be a little cold and open. However on some rare cold days it’s worth the visit.
