We are finally at the knockout stages of the 2019 Asian Champions League or ACL2019. Only two K League sides survived the group stages with Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Hyundai both progressing, whilst Daegu FC and Gyeongnam FC both fell short.
On Wednesday evening Ulsan travel to Japan to face Urawa Red Diamonds (the 2017 winners), whilst Jeonbuk Hyundai travel to China to face Shanghai SIPG. Both games are the first legs with the second legs taking place next week in Korea.
This season I’ve kept things simple with the key match date information and a prediction for each game per game week. Fingers crossed if I have time I’ll expand into previews etc as the campaigns progress.

Wednesday May 22nd 2019;
Urawa Red Diamonds vs. Ulsan Hyundai
Prediction: 1-1
I see a close game here with Ulsan grabs a vital away goal and the game finishing all square.
Shanghai SIPG vs. Jeonbuk Hyundai
Prediction: 1-0
Strangely I feel that Jeonbuk will play thing safe and save their energy for the second leg. Overall I feel Shanghai will edge this one, but only by a single goal.
