On Wednesday evening we have the second legs of the round 16 in the 2019 Asian Champions League or ACL2019. Only two K League sides survived the group stages with Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Hyundai both progressing, whilst Daegu FC and Gyeongnam FC both fell short.
Ulsan host Urawa Red Diamonds (J-League) and they hold a 2-1 win from the away 1st leg. Jeonbuk are also at home, they take on Shanghai SIPG (Chinese Super League) having drawing the first leg 1-1 over in China.
This season I’ve kept things simple with the key match date information and a prediction for each game per game week. Fingers crossed if I have time I’ll expand into previews etc as the campaigns progress.

Wednesday June 26th 2019;
Ulsan Hyundai vs. Urawa Red Diamonds
Prediction: 1-0
I see a closer second leg defensively, with Ulsan scoring maybe the only goal of the game late in the second half on the counter. Overall Ulsan will progress 3-1 on agg.
Jeonbuk Hyundai vs. Shanghai SIPG
Prediction: 2-1
Jeonbuk have the away goal from the opening leg and that will allow them to take control of this game. In the end I see them winning 2-1, therefore 3-2 on agg and progressing to the Quarter Finals.
