Georgia vs. South Korea – International Friendly
When; September 6th 2019, 10.30pm (Korea Time)
Where; Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu, Istanbul Turkey
Who; Georgia vs. South Korea
South Korea are playing this friendly to warmup for their opening World Cup Qualifier against Turkmenistan. Whilst Georgia will be looking are in the middle of their Euro2020 qualifiers. So this will be a slow paced game with both sides playing rotated squads. South Korea should have the edge on paper against a nation that have only beaten Gibraltar so far in 2019. In the end I see a narrow win for Korea, but Georgia should have a strong chance of at least getting onto the scoresheet.
Watch out for; South Korean big names Son Heung-Min and Hwang Ui-jo will be the dangermen for Korea. MLS based Valeri Qazaishvili could an issue for the Korean defence on Thursday.
Head-to-Head: These nations have not played each other before.
Prediction: Georgia 1-2 South Korea
