North Korea vs. South Korea – World Cup Qualifier

When; Tuesday October 15th 2019, 5.30pm (Local Time)
Where; Kim Il-sung Stadium, Pyongyang
Who; North Korea vs. South Korea

South Korea hammered Sri Lanka eight-nil on Thursday in their second game of 2022 World Cup Qualifying. However North Korea should provide a bigger test on Tuesday especially as the game is in Pyongyang. North Korea beat Sri Lanka and Lebanon back in September and have a strong chance of making the third round if their form continues.
Overall South Korea should have enough in order to beat rivals North Korea, however as the game is away from home it will be tighter. I still see the South winning but it will be close.

Watch out for; South Korean big name is Son Heung-Min, scored a couple on Thursday evening against Sri Lanka and was rested for the final thirty minutes. Kim Shin-wook scored four on Thursday and looked full of confidence. For North Korea Juventus youngster Han Kwang-song could be the main dangerman for the North moving forward.

Head-to-Head; These nations have played sixteen before with South Korea holding seven wins over their neighbors. The last game ended 1-0 to South Korea back in 2017 during the EAFF Cup.
South Korea 7
Draws 8
North Korea 1

Prediction: North Korea 0-2 South Korea
