The K League season came to a close last weekend however there is still one element to complete the Promotion / Relegation Playoff between Busan I’Park (K League 2) and Gyeongnam FC (K League 1). The winner over two legs takes the final stop in the 2020 K League 1, the loser drops to the 2020 K League 2. Brief Preview and Prediction Here;
K League 2019 Promotion / Relegation Playoff 1st Leg
When: Thursday December 5th 2019
Who: Busan I’Park vs. Gyeongnam FC
The first leg will be defensive with neither side wanting to give away the tie early doors. I personally see Busan being the more attacking but Gyeongnam being able to hold on for a draw ahead of the second leg on Sunday afternoon in Changwon.
