Mortal Kombat – Movie Reviews 2020 #6

Hello again, to continue with our new series of movie reviews we’re looking at the 90s Action movie Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat is of course loosely based on the video game of the same name originally released in the early 90s. Here are my pros and cons for Mortal Kombat (warning spoilers);

Pros	Cons
Its fun and full of action.	It has aged a bit in the 25 years since it was originally releases.
It does credit to the limited source material.	It lacks a big name star to draw in casual fans.
The soundtrack rocks.

Overall Rating:

6.5/10

It’s better than you might expect, its a fun action movie that doesn’t try to be anything more than it needs to be. It’s also better than Street Fighter that was released a year prior.
